Receptionist 

Liberty Elevator Corporation is a company on the rise in Paterson New Jersey currently in search of an energetic & organized Office Receptionist to assist with incoming calls and perform minor office duties. Receptionist responsibilities will include greeting clients, transferring incoming calls, light filing and office organization.  

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.

This essential position will be seated at the newly renovated headquarters of Liberty Elevator Corporation, located at 63 East 24th Street in Paterson, New Jersey.  The work schedule for this role will is 7:45AM – 4:30PM, Monday-Friday

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing incoming calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence.
  • Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member on a timely basis.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes and making travel plans.
  • Preparing meeting and training rooms.
  • Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Scheduling appointments.

Receptionist Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field.
  • Consistent, professional dress and manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
