N95 Respirator Mask Donation

PATERSON, NJ. March 26, 2020 - When driving to the Paterson, NJ headquarters the other day, Liberty Elevator owner, Douglas Muttart, was listening to Doctor Radio on SiriusXM. The broadcast was presented by NYU Langone Hospital, describing the current COVID-19 situation in New York & New Jersey. Nurses were calling in to the show, expressing concerns over the need to reuse their N95 masks and a shortage of medical supplies at the area’s largest hospitals and asking the public for donations so that they can perform their work safely.

This really hit home for Douglas. “As soon as I arrived at the Liberty office we searched the warehouse for any personal protective equipment we could gather. In our search, we were able to uncovered several boxes of N95 masks sitting idly in our warehouse.” Liberty Elevator was able to coordinate with several local hospitals to drop off the masks over the next couple of days. “Liberty Elevator is grateful for the opportunity to donate this equipment locally in support of those on the front line fighting against the COVID-19 Coronavirus.” To date, Liberty Elevator has donated over 600 respirators to local NJ hospitals.
