Delivery Driver Job Decription

Liberty Elevator Corporation is in search of a responsible Delivery Driver to drive the company 24’ flatbed truck and deliver elevator equipment to tri-state work sites.  The right candidate will present themselves with integrity & honesty while possessing a team player mentality and inner drive to elevate those around them. 

This core position will start their day at the newly renovated headquarters of Liberty Elevator Corporation, located at 63 East 24th Street in Paterson, New Jersey but the geographic responsibility will cover deliveries to Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Manhattan & all 5 Boroughs.

Company Vehicle Provided! No CDL Required!

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Safely drive and operate a 24’ flatbed delivery vehicle with lift gate.
•  Use handheld device for routing & delivery information.
•  Navigate a variety of routes throughout New Jersey, New York City & the 5 Boroughs
•  Load construction/elevator equipment at warehouse and deliver items to Tri-State work sites.
•  Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  •  Lift packages up to 70 lbs.
  •  Able to get in and out of vehicle and load/unload equipment

Requirements:

•  Active Drivers License with clean drivers record.
•  Prior experience driving a similar vehicle in the tri-state area.
•  Familiar with delivery routes in and out of New York City.
•  The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
•  Legal right to work in the U.S.
•  Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.

Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day Monday - Friday.
