Description

Liberty Elevator Corporation is in search of an energetic Account Manager in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale Region who is ready to take their career to the next level by driving elevator repair and maintenance sales. The right candidate will present themselves with integrity & honesty while possessing a team player mentality and inner drive to elevate those around them. 

The position will effectively manage a large volume of elevator maintenance clients across the Miami Metro territory while diligently prospecting new clients via cold calling, inbound leads and customer referrals. 

The success of this role depends on the Account Manager’s personal accountability, professional communication skills and the ability to remain organized in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in the Elevator industry is not required, but a background in business development or B2B sales is strongly preferred.

This position will be based out of Liberty Elevator Corporation Florida headquarters at 501 E. Las Olas BLVD, Fort Lauderale,  but the geographic responsibility will extend across the South Florida region.

Business Development

  • Create new contacts and generate business in the South Florida region
  • Propose and follow up with maintenance, repair, and modernization surveys
  • Follow up on shut downs and problem accounts
  • Propose service recommendations from mechanics to clients
  • Use cold calling, networking, warm leads, expanded portfolios & referals to grow designated territory client density

Prospecting

  • Follow up on leads provided by website & inbound calls
  • Go through historical database and follow up on feelers and leads that were previously proposed 
  • Networking via groups and event participation
  • Follow up via email, phone and in person meetings
  • Transition Modernization and Construction projects into maintenance clients

Account Management

  • Become point person for all communications between customer and Liberty Elevator
  • Send out proposals, review contracts, follow up on customer complaints and billing discrepancies
  • Present service department reports to clients
  • Generate proposals for extra or customer requested work
  • Attend customer account related meetings
  • Facilitate contracted repair work
  • Research new companies/leads
  • Responsible for outstanding collections 

Networking

  • Partner with & Attend professional networking events
    • BOMA Miami-Dade
    • BOMA Fort Lauderdale - Palm Beaches
    • IREM South Florida
    • CAI
    • BDA

Client Retention

  • Client visits/dinners/events
  • Networking participation
  • Invite customers to special events; Golf outings, Corporate dinners etc.
