CAUSE:
This building, in bustling Morristown, NJ, is comprised of
155,000 square feet of fully leased professional medical offices.
The variety of medical specializations contributes to the varying
demographic of patients that visit the building's 150 doctors
daily.
Kalmon Dolgin understood the importance of having efficient
elevators. The three, eight stop, geared traction cars that they
had were not moving patients quickly enough to visit their
respective physicians. After 27 years, the equipment was beginning
to show its age.
ACTION:
Liberty Elevator began work on modernizing the three elevators.
Each car was worked on at separate times to minimize the
inevitable high demand on the other two cars during the
modernization.
RESULT:
More reliable, efficient and safer ADA compliant equipment was
installed by the spring of 2005. David Friedman of KND
Management believes,"By consistently delivering innovation and
superior service, Liberty Elevator has significantly improved the
vertical transportation needs at 95 Madison Ave."
