CAUSE:
Liberty Elevator was contracted to modernize four (4) geared
traction elevators for Mountain Development at 1 Garret Mountain
Plaza. In an effort to improve response times and become more
energy efficient, Liberty upgraded several facets of the
elevators.
ACTION:
As is Liberty's policy, non-proprietary equipment was installed
in all of the ten story landings to ensure that it can be managed
by any elevator vendor. The existing Armor equipment was removed
and the Variable Voltage Direct Current relay logic controllers
were substituted for more energy efficient Variable Voltage
Variable Frequency Alternating Current.
A technologically advanced lobby panel was also installed at the
front desk to allow for proper monitoring, in addition to updating
the door equipment and lobby fixtures.
RESULT:
