The Rise of a Corporation
When in need of an elevator company, NJ
and NY property managers, building owners and businesses have known
for decades that Liberty Elevator is second to none. Liberty
Elevator Corporation would not be where it is today without the
entrepreneurial ideas of George Gordon Muttart.
George Gordon Muttart founded National Elevator in 1960, which
provided comprehensive elevator service to customers along the
North East Coast. In 1987, Liberty Elevator Corporation
emerged, with Douglas K. Muttart, after the corporation completed
the historic elevator renovation in The Statue of Liberty.
Liberty Elevator Today
Liberty Elevator is a full service elevator company. NJ and NY
property managers, building owners and businesses know that Liberty
specializes in preventative maintenance programs, modernization,
cab refurbishments and new installations. Liberty remains the
largest independently owned elevator corporation in the
Northeast.
For over 50 years, Liberty has provided vertical
transportation to a variety of Fortune 500 customers. Today, the
corporation remains family owned and operated with its headquarters
in Paterson, New Jersey and an office in Manhattan.
